Wayne Baize has been a professional western artist for over 30 years and was elected for membership
into the Cowboy Artists of America in 1995.
His subject matter is the contemporary working
cowboy. He also enjoys painting mares and colts,
cows and calves and other animals a rancher
raises. Most of his work is done in oil paintings,
but he also does pencil and pens and ink.
His pencil drawing won the silver award for
drawing in the 1997 CA Exhibition.
Limited edition prints have been published of his
work since 1974. Guildhall, Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas
is his publisher.
